Stillness

I’m a very active person so stillness for me is not necessarily stopping but allowing time to appreciate many aspects of life and the greatness of nature.

Appreciating the moments on my way; I enjoy being outdoors walking, cycling and all the amazing displays of the seasons.  This Autumn has shown me great beauty and appreciation for natures’ wonders.

As winter approaches my appreciation for a warm home, a comfy bed, hot water and good food. Stillness is thinking of the Charities and homeless not only at this time of year.  Plus trying not to be caught up in the ‘Must haves & Must Do’s’ for Christmas.

Stillness for me is at the end of a long day, holding on to the best things. On a dull rainy day remembering the sun is only a day or two away and pulling on my wellies to walk in the puddles, feeling the blast of fresh air makes me feel alive…not so great washing the mud off the dog; then it's trying to keep her still!
