Balanced Movement: Whole-body Alignment

Alignment is not about the static arrangement of body parts. It is about firstly understanding where your midline is and then using this knowledge to move fluidly within and around this optimal position in order to distribute the forces generated evenly throughout the whole body.

In much the same way we balance our wheels to prevent uneven load and consequent wear on our tyres, we must balance our body to prevent uneven load and wear through our joints, tissues and organs.

Restoring optimal function, begins with restoring optimal alignment.
